Your right to be forgotten
Under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you have the right to request deletion of your personal information held by SMB AI Agents Inc. and our tenant businesses.
1. Customer-initiated deletion
If you've interacted with a tenant's AI agent (for example, booked an appointment via WhatsApp, called an AgentVeronica receptionist, or filled out an intake form), the simplest path is:
- Send the word STOP via the same channel you used (WhatsApp, SMS, or email). This halts further communication.
- Contact the tenant business directly to request full deletion of your record.
- If the tenant is unresponsive within 30 days, email privacy@smbaiagents.ca and we will act on your behalf.
2. What gets deleted
- Your name and contact identifiers (phone, email)
- Booking, deal, job, or appointment records associated with you (these may be anonymised rather than fully deleted, where required for tenant audit obligations)
- Message and call transcripts attributed to your number
3. What we must retain
Some information may be retained where required by law (for example, FINTRAC record-keeping obligations for real-estate transactions, or financial records under Canadian tax law). Retained information is minimised, encrypted, and access-restricted.
4. Tenant administrators
If you are a tenant administrator and need to request deletion of your own account (rather than a customer record), email privacy@smbaiagents.ca from the email address on file. We will confirm via a second channel before deletion.
